Invest and settle in Spain: carrying out a significant investment in Spain, allows you to benefit from the special residence regime for investors and entrepreneurs if the investment meets the minimum amounts required: 

· Investments in financial assets (1 million €)
· Investment in real estate (500,000 €)
· Investment in a business project in Spain (no minimum amount)

This type of residence is known as a “Golden Visa”, as its main attractions are being able to work and reside in Spain, including your family members. The processing time is quick (between 10 and 20 working days) and does not require the acquisition of tax residence in Spain.

· Long-term residence permit
· Authorisation for temporary residence and self-employed/employed work
· Residence permit for family reunification
· Non-profit residence permit
· Permiso de residencia por araigo (Residence permit for ancestral relations)

· Nationality by residency: this requires that the person have lived in Spain for at least ten years in a legal and continuous way. There are cases in which this period is reduced to:

· 5 years for those who acquire refugee status
· 2 years for nationals of Ibero-American countries, Andorra, Philippines, Equatorial Guinea, Portugal or Sephardic countries
· 1 year for a person born on Spanish territory, a person who has been married for one year to a Spaniard, a widow or widower of a Spaniard, a person born outside Spain to a parent or grandparent who is originally Spanish

· Nationality by Sefardi origin 
· Nationality by option

· Authorisation of stay for studies
· Extension of stay for studies
· Authorisation of residence to the student for the search of employment

· Register of EU citizenship: citizens of the European Union, of the Agreement of the European Economic Area and of Switzerland who are going to reside on the Spanish territory for a period longer of three months are obliged to register at the Central Register for Foreigners.
· Certificate of permanent residence
· Residence card for a family member of an EU citizen

· Application for foreign identification number (NIE)
· Application for foreign identification card (TIE)
· Resident or non-resident certificate

· Registering at town hall (empadronamiento)
